Wine description: Fresh apple, whiff of wild herbs, very lively—the classic from Styria
Soil: Paleozoic Slate
Winemaking: Selective hand picked grapes from different slate vineyards. Gently pressed, temperature controlled fermentation around 18°C in stainless steel tanks and afterwards batonage for several weeks.
Drinking temperature: 10 °C
Drinking description: Vegetable tureen with dried ham, Salad composition with fried goat cheese
contains sulfites

Wine Classification: Gebietsweine (Regional Wines)

Dry wines from hand-harvested grapes. After at least a half-year of maturation in barrel or stainless steel, these wines are released onto the market on 1 March. They offer a fine representation of the diversity found throughout Südsteiermark.
